Buying and Selling Antiques is a Very unique business. There are alot Of good old Items out there for collectors and dealers" alike. Our Motto Is To "Be Fair".
If your a seller you need to remember that there are many people out there that buy and resell antiques and need also to turn a profit, This is how they make there living, So Keeping The pricess reasonable enough so they can make a little money on it. "Be Fair" Also To remember that in hard times people do not have alot of money to throw around.
If you are a Buyer - offer A fair reasonable price- don't insult someone trying to get something for nothing. You will only make yourself look dumb in the process, and you may turn the seller off so much, that they refuse to sell you anything. Make a reasonable fair offer.
Our best piece Of advice Is do some research
a great suggestion to most folks is find out what other people buying and selling items for.
You can do this by watching shows like American Pickers, or any antique show.
Or purchase an antique pricing catolog or check one out at the local library.
You can always Ask for an appraisil from a skilled appraiser from someone who has considerable knowledge from some one who is Knowledgable in the item/s that you are selling.
you can find appraisers here online or in the yellow pages or on
Just Remember To be Fair!.
